1 - Divex COBRA: Presentation
This video from Divex presents the COBRA (Compact Bailout Rebreathing
Apparatus). This system replaces the SLS Mk 4 and is described in our
document “Description of a saturation system” (see in documents/documents
“Diving & ROV Specialists”/Description of a saturation system).
We highly recommend using this apparatus for saturation dives below 60 m,
as it allows breathing 45 minutes at 120 m instead of 7 minutes with a 14 litres
/300 bar classical bailout. Also, it is designed for dives below 350 m, in addition
to the fact that it is equipped with a module that reheats the breathed gas,
which is not possible with a classical bailout.
